The term UGC NET stands for Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. This national exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency to recruit applicants for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). UGC Net 2022
The University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test(UGC Net) exam is held by NTA. This exam is conducted two times a year. The UGC Net comprises of total 82 subjects. The date for the release of the application form is 30th April 2022 and the last for the fee payment is 30th May 2022. The dates for the UGC NET examination- are 9th, 11th, 12th July 2022, and 12th, 13th, and 14th August 2022.
Eligibility criteria for UGC Net 2022
The candidates must have a Master’s degree from a well-known university. Candidates up to the age of 31 years can apply for the post of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and there is an age relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to OBC and PwD categories. There is no fixed age upper limit for the candidates applying for the post of Assistant Professor.
The UGC Net 2022 exam will be held online. It consists of two papers based on multiple choice questions. Paper 1 comprises 50 objective-type questions of 100 marks with a time limit of 3 hours and Paper 2 indulges 100 multiple choice questions of 200 marks and the time limit is 3 hours.
CSIR net.
The full form of CSIR NET is the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Net. This national-level exam is held by the National Testing Agency. The exam is conducted twice a year in online mode. The subjects for CSIR net are Chemical Science, Earth, Ocean, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. The fees for applicants belonging to General Category are INR 1000, fees for applicants with an OBC background is INR 500 and for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category, the fees are INR 250.
